Welcome

Harvest Lane Cottage is a place to find encouragement, and hopefully, be inspired to do, read, write, or cook something wonderful. Most importantly, I want to share my love for Jesus Christ with you. He is the center of my life, the center of who I am. No, I'm not perfect. I fail, I fall, I'm tempted, but I keep going back to the One who makes me clean again.

Relax, enjoy yourself, be refreshed. Then, please leave me a comment. I love it when my readers "talk back". I won't tell your momma, I promise!

Laura Lane

Happy in my Jesus and in my home.

I am so thankful we chose to home school many, many years ago. I wouldn't trade it for the world. And, I'm also thankful that my oldest won't be in high school for another year. I am so thankful for ladies like you that post these must know little tid bits of information.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Amy

Homeschooling was one of those things I was "never" going to do. But the Lord has a way of leading you to do the very things you think you would never do. (I've learned to be very careful of the word "never.")

Anyhow, I am so thankful that He changed my heart and that I homeschooled my kids. And I did it all the way through high school---yes, even biology, Algebra, and geometry. What God calls one to do, He equips them to do.

The thing is, kids eventually finish school, and the homeschool days come to an end. I miss those days very much...and wish I could relive them again.

Blessings,
Patti

 Hi Gentle Joy,
Even on the days that it doesn't FEEL like a blessing, I know that it is. ~smile~

It all goes so fast, doesn't it? I'll be over for a visit in just a bit.
